Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

• Ensure all residentsare comfortable
• Assist residents withactivities of daily living (food service, personal care, bowel and bladderfunctions, etc.)
• Measure and recordvitals routinely
• Observe and report thewell-being of residents
• Provide assistancewith Range of Motion exercises and ambulation
• Establish healthycommunication with nursing personnel and other department personnel
• Perform restorativeand rehabilitative procedures as instructed
• Assist with thelifting, moving, positioning, and transporting of residents
• Check, review, andabide by resident care plans
• Follow workassignments and schedules in completing tasks
• Create and maintain anatmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positivity
• Remain prepared to doany services and assignments within the scope of practice of a CNA

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Valid NYS Certified Nursing Assistant license
• Exceptional communication, customer service, andinterpersonal skills
• COVID-19 Vaccination

Preferred

• Previous experience inlong-term care
• Previous experiencewith Point Click Care
