This is an opportunity for a seasoned contracts professional who enjoys balancing business objectives with thoughtful risk management and who takes pride in building strong partnerships throughout an organization. This position will require you to be in the office at least 4 days/week. How you can make an impact Strategic PartnershipProvide contract management advice to assigned business unit leaders, including operations, project management, and engineering teams. Provide practical, risk-based guidance aligned with business goals, profitability, and successful project execution.Contracting & Commercial TransactionsDraft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including EPC, design build, construction, subcontractor, supplier, and professional services agreements. Evaluate and negotiate key contractual risk provisions, including indemnification, limitation of liability, insurance, and environmental risk allocation.Project Construction Management SupportProvide legal support across all project phases:Pre-bid (RFP review, risk identification)Execution (change management, claims support)Closeout (final settlements, warranties)Corporate Governance & Compliance ProgramsEnsure adherence to Company policies and deliver contract training programs for project teams.Claims & DisputesLead and support development of claims, change orders, and dispute resolution strategies, including Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REAs) and negotiation of settlements. Commercial & Financial AccountabilitySupport project teams in protecting margin and minimizing financial exposure. Quantify contract risk and advise on contingency allocation. Insurance ManagementAssist with claims management, insurance applications & renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred).Minimum of ten (10) years of contract management experience in engineering, construction, construction management, and/or environmental services required.Experience supporting executive leadership and cross-functional business teams.Experience supporting large, complex projectsExperience with insurance applications, renewals, claims management, and reporting.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Copilot Pay Range USD $130,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.
