We are looking to add an enthusiastic, motivated Maintenance Worker/Housekeeper to our team at Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. Compensation: $17 an hour. Clean and sanitize dining areas, restrooms, kitchen spaces, and storage rooms. Dust, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces regularly. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with sanitation policies. Launder and restock linens, uniforms, and cleaning supplies as needed. Monitor cleanliness standards and report issues promptly. Wash and sanitize all dishes, cookware, and utensils following health code standards. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing areas. Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen deliveries. Ensure cleaning and sanitation chemicals are used and stored safely. Support kitchen staff during peak hours as needed. Perform routine maintenance tasks including light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and facility issues. Respond to urgent maintenance requests from restaurant or catering staff. Coordinate with external vendors for larger repairs and scheduled servicing. Maintain maintenance logs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Previous experience in housekeeping, kitchen stewarding, or facility maintenance preferred. Basic knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and maintenance equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety. Physical stamina to lift, move, and stand for extended periods.
