Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients, including post-surgical recovery
- Monitor and document patient status, administer medications, and manage IV therapy as prescribed
- Perform routine assessments, wound care, drain and tube management, and assist with mobility and activities of daily living
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team, respond to changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns per protocol
- Implement orders in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and ensure accurate charting and documentation
- Float to unit-specific needs as assigned and adhere to unit policies, safety, and infection control standards

Requirements
- Active RN license in New York and Nursys license verification with all active NY licenses
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- EMR experience, specifically EPIC
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience; travel experience preferred
- Ability to work day shifts with floating as required and to participate in block scheduling
- Driver's license with address matching demographics; willingness to provide up-to-date resume including MS experience and travel history
- RTO (request time off) must be included at time of submission
