Apply today!About the roleResponsible for the operation of daily inspection of the front-end loaders on the Tipping Floor or in the Residue Storage and Processing Building (ash storage area).Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the daily inspection and safe operation of all mobile equipment.Safe and effective operations on the Tipping Floor, Residue Storage and Refuse CraneSweep/shovel floors in buildings when required, ensure roadways around the building are maintained daily to maintain compliance with ash track out. Wash all equipment weekly. Wash down the floor and walls periodically. Pick up loose debris along roadways.Complete the required Reworld training for EO within the assigned timelines.Perform other duties as directed by the Shift Supervisor.Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree preferred.Previous experience in the operation of heavy industrial machinery is preferred.Formal technical or apprentice training is desirable, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and other procedure manuals.Ability to speak and communicate effectively with supervisors and other employees of the organization.Ability to follow Reworld safety rules.Ability to log onto a computer and complete online assigned training.Physical Demands:Work in close quarters and confined spacesClimb Ladders and structures.Tolerate heights, high temperatures, and work outside.Lift up to 50 poundsHave the ability to don and wear a negative pressure respirator in accordance with OSHA Regulation 29 CFR 1910.134.Ability to work a rotating shift.Ability to wear Reworld required PPE for the job and the assigned task.Employees are frequently required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands or arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance” and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Specific vision ability required by this job included close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Shift WorkThis position works on a rotating 12-hour shift including nights, weekends, and some holidays. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $47,400.00 - $63,100.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary.
