The DaMar Team is actively seeking out cooks for assisted living facilities located in the Indianapolis Metro area. Client Profile - Medical facility offering independent living, assisted living and memory care. Job Summary - Responsible for preparing meals using standardized recipes for regular and therapeutic diets; appearance is important. Must adhere to local Department of Health regulations and company policies. Inspect food deliveries for accuracy and quality. Qualifications Able to follow a recipe and have basic cooking skills. Understanding of kitchen, safety and sanitation Ensure that food is prepared for whole facility in a timely manner; passionate about delivering great customer service Neat in appearance and professional behavior. Organized with ability to multitask and prioritize workflow Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check Hours: Shifts 6a to 2:30p; 11:15a to 7:45p; needs Monday thru Sunday Starting pay $15.00 to $18.00 hourly based on experience; shift differential
