Warehouse ManagerPosition Summary: The Warehouse Manager will oversee warehouse inventory and staff.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Assists Warehouse supervisor with hiring and training of new personnel.Schedules and oversees warehouse staff.Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy.Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.Replenishes stock and inventory as needed.Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations of the warehouse.Transfers inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule.Schedules materials being transferred to and from warehouse; coordinates transfer of inventory between departments.Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.Monitors expenditures; implements corrective actions if needed.Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.Resolves routine equipment issues.Performs other related duties as assigned.Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following.CommunicationsCooperationLeadershipPlanning/OrganizingProblem SolvingSafety and SecurityQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.Mathematical Ability: Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
