FT PACU RN Physicians Surgery Center of Chattanooga is a Joint Commission-accredited, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a service-focused environment. Our modern facility includes 4 operating rooms and 2 treatment rooms, supporting specialties such as GYN, ophthalmology, orthopedics, ENT, and retina. As a physician-owned center, we foster strong clinical collaboration to ensure exceptional surgical outcomes. Responsibilities The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.
