Assistant Service Manager – Baton Rouge $85,000 - $95,000 a year Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, plus every 3rd Saturday Express Employment Professionals – Downtown Baton Rouge is seeking an Assistant Service Manager for a locally owned and operated car dealership in East Baton Rouge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and high integrity to join a reputable team. Core Responsibilities: Assist in managing the daily operations of the service department. Lead, coach, and motivate employees to achieve performance goals. Ensure excellent customer service and customer satisfaction at all times. Monitor workflow and identify bottlenecks, delays, or inefficiencies. Expedite customer service processes to improve turnaround times and overall experience. Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues effectively. Maintain clear communication between customers, advisors, technicians, and management. Monitor department productivity and help implement process improvements. Support staffing, scheduling, and team development efforts. Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment. Ensure company policies and procedures are followed consistently. Skills & Experience Required: Previous management or leadership experience. Strong people management and team-building skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Exceptional customer service mindset. Highly observant with strong attention to detail. Ability to identify performance gaps and operational inefficiencies. Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in customer service, retail management, hospitality, operations management, or a similar leadership role. Experience improving processes and increasing operational efficiency.
