University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated and experienced LPN - Director of Nursing to lead the nursing team at University Senior Living Center. This role requires a compassionate leader with a strong background in nursing management, committed to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. The position typically involves working Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with on-call duties and coverage as needed for call-offs.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
Manage and supervise CNA staff and coordinate home care services to meet resident needs.
Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Provide leadership, training, and support to nursing staff.
Handle administrative duties including scheduling, documentation, and performance evaluations.
Respond to on-call situations and provide coverage for nursing staff as required.

Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current and valid licensure.
Minimum of two years’ experience as a Director of Nursing.
Proven experience managing CNAs and home care services.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work a typical 9 AM to 5 PM schedule, Monday to Friday, with on-call availability.
