As a Dog Groomer, you will provide professional grooming services exclusively for dogs, ensuring their cleanliness, comfort, and style. Working either independently or as part of a team of groomers, you will utilize dedicated grooming software to manage appointments efficiently during standard business hours. Your role is key to enhancing the well-being and appearance of pets while delivering excellent client service.

 

Responsibilities

• Bathing dogs and ensuring gentle care
• Cutting and styling dog hair to meet breed standards and client preferences
• Trimming nails safely and effectively
• Cleaning dog ears to maintain hygiene
• Consulting with clients to understand grooming needs and provide advice
• Using grooming software to schedule and manage appointments

 

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in pet grooming

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in pet grooming
• Skills in pet grooming techniques including scissoring and clipping
• Strong animal handling abilities
• Expertise in nail care and bathing/drying processes
• Effective time management skills
