As a Dog Groomer, you will provide professional grooming services exclusively for dogs, ensuring their cleanliness, comfort, and style. Working either independently or as part of a team of groomers, you will utilize dedicated grooming software to manage appointments efficiently during standard business hours. Your role is key to enhancing the well-being and appearance of pets while delivering excellent client service.
Responsibilities
- Bathing dogs and ensuring gentle care
- Cutting and styling dog hair to meet breed standards and client preferences
- Trimming nails safely and effectively
- Cleaning dog ears to maintain hygiene
- Consulting with clients to understand grooming needs and provide advice
- Using grooming software to schedule and manage appointments
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in pet grooming
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in pet grooming
- Skills in pet grooming techniques including scissoring and clipping
- Strong animal handling abilities
- Expertise in nail care and bathing/drying processes
- Effective time management skills
