Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Security Clearance Patrol Driver in Portsmouth, RI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming, controlled environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will communicate professionally, provide outstanding customer service, and report security-related concerns while demonstrating Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.78 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat12:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun12:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when required. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and facility concerns. Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures; assist with visitor and contractor entry requirements. Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrol observations, incidents, access-related activity, and shift communications. Minimum Requirements: An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
