Job Summary and Qualifications As a House Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating intradepartmental and interdepartmental functioning of the hospital. You will be responsible for the direction, supervision, coordination, and evaluation of nursing performance and activities related to the care and treatment of patients within the hospital on a specific shift. You will coordinate the assignments of patients to specific units You will assign nursing staff to specific clinical areas within the hospital You will act as the official representative of management and administrative staff of the hospital in their absence You will assess personnel needs based on census, acuity, and special needs of each unit Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date (RN) Registered Nurse Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma No Travel Required 5 years experience Required Years of Experience Benefits Heart Hospital of Austin, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
