What You'll Do

As a Test Technician, you'll play a vital role in the testing and validation process, ensuring products meet rigorous performance and quality standards before delivery.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Prepare test documentation and set up fixtures required for accelerometer testing

• Execute and monitor testing operations from start to finish

• Perform rate table and vibration testing procedures

• Conduct final acceptance testing on customer equipment prior to shipment

• Maintain accurate daily test logs, records, and documentation of all test activities

• Document faults, discrepancies, and anomalies discovered during testing

• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and Production Management on testing strategies, troubleshooting efforts, and production planning

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues as needed

• Disassemble products from test fixtures and perform cleaning and final preparation activities

• Gather, verify, and validate required paperwork and database routing information for final inspection

• Support additional production-related tasks during test cycles that do not require active observation

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years of Test Technician experience

• Previous testing experience or equivalent technical education

• Experience performing hardware testing in a production, manufacturing, or laboratory environment

• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

• Ability to interpret testing procedures and follow established processes

Preferred Qualifications

• IPC J-STD-001 Certification

• Technical degree in electronics or a related discipline

• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or electronic testing environments

• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience

• Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and ESD mitigation practices

• Experience using digital multimeters (DMMs) to diagnose electrical issues

• Strong teamwork, initiative, and accountability

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Technical Skills

• Hardware testing and validation

• Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting

• Test documentation and reporting

Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
