Job Description Assembler Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a growing manufacturing company in Wyoming, IL seeking an Assembler to join their team. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling metal and mechanical components, following specifications, and ensuring finished products meet quality standards. Responsibilities Assemble metal or mechanical components into finished products or subassemblies Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings Use hand tools and power tools, including drills, wrenches, grinders, and other assembly equipment Align, fit, and secure parts using bolts, screws, rivets, or welding techniques as required Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy Follow safety procedures and quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Work effectively with team members to meet production goals Qualifications Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience using hand and power tools Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Sick Time WEEKLY pay Direct Deposit $100 Referral Bonus (+$50 for the person being referred) Express Employment Professionals of Ottawa & Morris is a locally owned and operated staffing company dedicated to helping job seekers find local work.
