Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process._ **How you'll make an impact in this role** + Perform specialized duties such as hazardous drug compounding, medication history, nuclear, and Patient Assistance Program (PAP) as a pharmacy technician. + Proactively maintain automated dispensing systems to ensure seamless, secure medication access for clinical units. + Accurately prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds and repackage medications according to strict CPhT safety standards. + Manage the pharmacy's lifeblood by overseeing inventory, receiving supplies, and ensuring all stock meets regulatory storage requirements. + Serve as a primary point of contact, triaging complex inquiries and providing vital information to patients and healthcare professionals. + Partner with Pharmacists to deliver high-level distributive services and maintain the technical integrity of the pharmacy department. **What minimum requirements you'll need** Licensure / Certification / Registration: + Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration. + One or more of the following required: + Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration. + Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
