About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Business Officer to lead its business development and strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing vision, strategic and tactical leadership, and market experience to drive profitable revenue growth. This role requires the identification and development of strategic growth opportunities, as well as ensuring the company is adequately resourced to meet its growth and revenue targets. The Chief Business Officer will also be tasked with managing a team, stimulating a productive work environment, and instilling a sense of team spirit within the organization. A hands-on, operational management style is essential, as is the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from the C-suite to front-line staff. Applicants for the Chief Business Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales and marketing, with a proven track record of success. The role demands a leader with a strong ownership mindset, capable of operationalizing new ideas and insights, and who is adept at building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. A background in peer-to-peer medical education, oncology medical affairs, marketing, and sales, as well as a deep understanding of the biopharma industry and its regulations, is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-growth, innovative environment and a professional network in oncology and other therapeutic areas. A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required, with advanced degrees in science and business being desirable.
