Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (LTCA) – Day shift in Monterey, California, United States Start date 09/14/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,251–$1,260 per week Guaranteed hours: 38 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Start date: 09/14/2026 Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility Responsibilities Deliver and document individualized occupational therapy interventions for residents, aligned with the approved plan of care Assess ADLs and functional mobility; tailor activities and adaptive strategies to promote independence and safety Implement treatment plans and adjust interventions based on resident response and progress; document outcomes in Rehab Optima (NetHealth) as required Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, nursing, SLP, social work) to support resident goals and coordinate care Maintain equipment, organize supplies, and ensure a clean, safe therapy environment in the SNF setting Participate in care planning, rounds, and fiscal documentation to support continuity of care and regulatory compliance Requirements Active California license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Certification as a COTA (LTCA specialty listed) and current credentials for practice in California Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred or required as indicated Experience using Rehab Optima (NetHealth) or willingness to use the Rehab Optima computer system for documentation Ability to work the day shift in a travel assignment and perform flexible, resident-centered OT services Benefits and Support Dedicated support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC throughout the assignment 24/7 recruiter and travel-support availability for questions and onboarding Assignment-specific coordination to facilitate credentialing and onboarding Consistent, predictable schedule with guaranteed weekly hours during the 13-week contract About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
