In Oakbrook/Naperville, the starting hourly base pay rate for Team Jeni’s Ambassadors is $15.00/hour with the opportunity to earn an average of $22.96 per hour!* Ambassadors are eligible for tips, overtime and holiday premium pay (if applicable).

*This is an estimate of hourly earnings. It is based on the 2026 base pay rate, plus 2025's hourly tip average. 2026 actual customer tips may vary.

In Oakbrook/Naperville, if the average hourly earnings of an Ambassador are less than $16 per hour in a two-week pay period, Jeni's will add the difference to the person’s paycheck so that their average hourly earnings reach $16 per hour for that pay period.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is searching for Ambassadors to join our Naperville team.

Team Jeni’s Ambassadors are our part-time, front-line crew members. They scoop and serve ice cream to our customers, make waffle products, run the register, keep the shop clean, change out buckets of ice cream, and perform a number of other important, related tasks.

As an Ambassador, you will:

• Serve the ice cream Time magazine calls “the best in America”

• Gain valuable real-world business and entrepreneurship experience

Qualities of an Ice Cream Ambassador (also known as a scoop shop employee):

• Exhibit passion for community, an eye for detail, a willingness to clean (a lot), stamina (to serve people in long lines), and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Familiar with (and be able to articulate to customers) what distinguishes Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams from other ice creams, and be able to articulate that to the 500th customer with the same care and presence as the 1st customer

• Available to work weekends, late nights (past 11 p.m.)

• Provide consistent, world-class service to every single customer

• Reliable, on time, and ready to hustle for every shift

• Committed to the well-being of their shop team, their community, and the environment around them

Jeni’s Ambassadors In Oakbrook/Naperville are eligible for the following:

• Paid leave, accrued based on hours worked and available for use after 90 days of employment

• 4% match on 401k contributions after 3 months of employment

• One-month paid sabbatical after 3 years of continuous employment

• 8 hours of paid Volunteer Time Off annually

• 50% discount at Jeni’s Scoop Shops and online and one free serving per shift
