Patient Service RepresentativeOur client, a leading health system in Garden City, KS, is seeking a Patient Service Representative to provide comprehensive clerical and office support within a physician clinic.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and caregivers, providing assistance in a manner that reflects high-quality service.Verify and update all demographic data in the electronic health record, identifying communication and financial barriers.Gather and process necessary information for medical records, referrals, billing, and treatment purposes.Schedule and confirm patient appointments, revising as needed.Maintain patient charts and records confidentially, including importing and communicating scanned documents.Obtain and process appropriate payments at the time of service.RequirementsRequired: High School Diploma or GED; previous work experience with basic office and computer skills, filing, telephone answering, and reception.Preferred: Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance payers.ScheduleMonday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMCompensation$16.33 - $24.30/hourBenefitsMedical, prescription drug, dental, and vision plans.Life insurance.Paid time off (minimum of 14 days annually for full-time benefit-eligible team members).Tuition reimbursement.Retirement plan benefits, including 401(k) and 403(b).
