Operating Room NurseThe main purpose of the Operating Room Nurse is to provide quality patient care according to Cambridge Health Alliance and the Association of perioperative Registered Nurses standards of nursing practice. The role of the operating room nurse is to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document patient care in a professional manner. The Operating Room nurse will demonstrate the ability to provide care in the perioperative setting to include both the functions of the scrub and circulator. The Operating Room nurse knows and understands the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of nursing service. Clinical nursing leadership at Cambridge Health Alliance is manifested by personal commitment, accountability, and initiative in clinical practice. Patients are our priority.
