Qualifications Active Michigan SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in school-based settings is preferred Ability and willingness to work onsite (virtual opportunities are not available) Experience with diverse student populations across K-12 is highly valued Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Responsibilities Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in K-12 Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain detailed progress records Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals Attend and participate in IEP meetings as required Provide consultation and training for school personnel to implement effective communication strategies Adapt therapy methods and materials to meet diverse student needs Maintain compliance with state and district reporting requirements This position begins in August 2026 and continues through June 25, 2027.
