Posted: 2026-09-09Senior Project Manager – Data Center ConstructionLocation: Arlington, TX or Houston, TXSalary: $150,000 – $200,000 Base + Bonus/Benefits Industry: Mission Critical / Data Center Construction Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a growing General Contractor focused on large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects in Texas and across the country.This is a senior-level opportunity for a proven construction leader who can take ownership of complex projects, work directly with owners and project stakeholders, and potentially provide leadership across multiple Project Managers and project teams.The ideal candidate will come from a strong General Contractor background and have demonstrated experience managing large-scale commercial, mission-critical, or data center projects.Key Responsibilities Lead the overall execution of large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects. Manage project financials, schedules, contracts, procurement, and project documentation. Lead and mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and project teams. Coordinate closely with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal leadership. Manage project budgets and ensure financial performance throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and maintain project schedules while identifying potential delays and mitigation strategies. Oversee subcontractor procurement, buyout, change orders, and contract administration. Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders. Identify project risks and develop solutions before they impact cost or schedule. Participate in preconstruction, estimating, budgeting, and project planning. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Potentially oversee multiple PMs and project teams depending on experience and project needs. Qualifications 8+ years of commercial construction experience, preferably with a General Contractor. Proven experience managing large-scale data center, mission-critical, industrial, healthcare, or similarly complex projects. Strong understanding of project financial management, scheduling, contracts, and subcontractor management. Experience managing large project teams and/or multiple Project Managers is highly preferred. Strong owner/client-facing communication skills. Ability to understand and discuss project costs, scope, schedule, and construction methodology at a high level. Strong technical understanding of data center construction and mission-critical environments preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred. What We’re Looking ForTenure matters.
