Rusty Hooks Dockside Grill is looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Southport, NC. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute menu items consistently and efficiently during service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
• Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and plating standards with precision
• Coordinate with fellow line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage of ingredients
• Adhere to all food safety and health code regulations

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
