Service Technician Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join the team at the Oilville, VA customer service center. Superior Plus Propane is a premier propane company with exceptional employees who look out for one another's safety. What You'll Do:

• Propane service and tank installation.
• Able to identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed
• Rotate "on call" status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Perform tank maintenance spare tanks located in the plants in preparation for putting them in service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Consistently communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales reps, drivers, and customers as necessary

What you bring:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• CDL Class A or B or willingness to obtain within first year of employment in the position
• Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement preferred
• 2-3 years propane gas/oil service preferred; HVAC
• VA Gas Fitter's License strongly preferred
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

Pay Transparency:

The hourly rate for this position is $26.00 - $27.00 per hour, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates based on industry experience, CDL/Hazmat endorsements, and technical expertise.

Please note the compensation information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, geographical location, as well as market and business considerations.

This role will be eligible for overtime pay once scheduled work week hours are met.

When applicable, this role is eligible for an on-call incentive stipend.

This position is also eligible for a quarterly/annual incentive program.
