Caregiver Position at Executive Home Care of Diablo Valley

As a Caregiver at Executive Home Care of Diablo Valley, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential personal care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their homes. Immediate need for experienced, licensed applicants for 2 4 hour shifts per week in Brentwood Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays 2pm-6pm. Must have reliable transportation to drive the client. The right candidate will have experience with Dementia patients, be comfortable with dogs and have a passion for engaging with seniors and improving their day to day living experience. Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene. Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.

Medication Reminders: Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules. Support clients in managing their medication routines.

Meal Preparation and Nutrition: Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements. Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.

Companionship and Social Interaction: Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship. Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.

Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team. Document care provided and any notable observations.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience as a caregiver. Certification in CPR and First Aid. Active California Home Health Aid license. Compassionate and empathetic attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.

Compensation: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
