Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with multi-specialty OR experience for a travel contract at an acute care hospital in California.

Job Details

• Acute care hospital setting at a Level II Trauma center with 130 staffed beds,
• OR unit covering multiple specialties including orthopedics, neurology, general surgery, ENT, urology, OB/GYN, and trauma,
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM,
• Every other weekend required,
• On-call is not required but may be offered or available,
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required,
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred,
• Free parking available in any unrestricted lot space,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical tech experience required, with at least 1 year of travel experience,
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required,
• BLS certification required,
• CA license required if applicable,
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rates,
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Scrub color is open (any color); L&D scrubs are not provided by the facility,
• Former employees or travelers must have been away from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for this assignment
