Registered Nurse - Nuclear Cardiology Nurse

Job Description Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO has an opportunity for a Nuclear Cardiology Nurse. This growing team supervises the exercise and pharmacologic stress testing for inpatients and outpatients, seeing roughly 90 % outpatient and 10 % inpatient population. Staff are responsible for advanced ECG and arrhythmia interpretation and recognition, handling radioactive material, and caring for adult and geriatric patients. Hours: 8 hour shifts Monday - Friday. No weekends and no call. Responsibilities Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and supervising other patient care staff. Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures. Job Requirements 2 years of experience in Nuclear Cardiology or related cardiac patient care. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification – American Heart Association or Red Cross. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association or Red Cross. Registered Nurse in Missouri; Multi‑State registration accepted through NURSYS. Associate Degree in Nursing.
