Civil Litigation- Defense Attorney

About the Opportunity:
A well-established litigation firm in Seattle is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of litigation experience to join its growing practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload involving insurance defense, personal injury, and general civil litigation matters.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of civil litigation and insurance defense matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active Washington State Bar membership in good standing.
- 3–5 years of experience in civil litigation, insurance defense, personal injury, or related practice areas.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 – $150,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
