We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The RRT will provide respiratory care and diagnostic services to patients of all ages and acuity levels, including critically ill adult, pediatric, neonatal, and Level II NICU patients.

This position requires strong critical care and ventilator management skills, neonatal and pediatric respiratory therapy experience, and previous successful travel assignment experience.

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures for patients across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and critical care populations.

• Manage ventilated and other high-acuity patients using strong critical care respiratory therapy skills and clinical judgment.

• Deliver specialized respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients, including patients in a Level II NICU setting.

• Assess patient response to respiratory interventions and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while supporting patient safety, equipment standards, and required night, weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage.

• Minimum 5 Years of Respiratory Therapy Experience Required, Including Excellent Critical Care and Ventilator Management Experience; Previous Travel Assignment Experience Required.

• Current, Active Colorado Respiratory Therapist License Through DORA Required.

• Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential Required; CRT Candidates Cannot Be Considered.

• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications Required; Current AAP NRP Certification Required.

• Neonatal and Pediatric Respiratory Therapy Experience, Including Level II NICU Experience, Required; Flu Vaccination Required During October 1 April 1 With No Declinations Accepted.

This contract opportunity is suited for an experienced RRT comfortable managing high-acuity patients across all age groups while working night shifts with rotating weekend and on-call responsibilities.
