This full-time day position involves planning and delivering professional nursing care aligned with established policies and standards. Key Responsibilities Assess patients to determine care needs and develop appropriate care plans. Organize, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, overseeing nursing activities. Accurately document patient care and administer medications as prescribed. Recognize and respond promptly to life-threatening situations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care. Participate in cost containment and accurate patient service billing. Adapt care to meet age-specific physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. Support patients' cultural and spiritual practices within medical guidelines. Education and Experience Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or the state of practice. No prior work experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply. Skills and Abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Effective organizational and leadership capabilities. Knowledge of developmental, physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual patient needs. Physical Requirements Clear speech and auditory skills for effective communication. Visual acuity to monitor patient conditions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift frequently. Potential exposure to blood or infectious materials. Licenses and Certifications Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Active Registered Nurse license.
