The appointment will be at the Junior, Assistant, Associate or Full Specialist series. Qualifications by Rank Junior: Must possess (or be in process of obtaining) a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent) or at least four years of research experience (e.g., with instrumentation, research equipment, social science methods, or creative activities). Assistant: Must possess (or be in process of obtaining) a master's degree (or equivalent) or a baccalaureate degree with 3 or more years of research experience. Associate: Must possess (or be in process of obtaining) a master's degree (or equivalent) or five to ten years of experience in the relevant specialization. Should have significant record of academic accomplishment including published or in‑press publication, and a demonstrated record of University and/or public service. Additionally, will provide considerable independence in planning and execution of research. Full: Must possess (or be in process of obtaining) a terminal degree (or equivalent) or ten or more years of experience in the relevant specialization. Should have significant record of academic accomplishment including published or in‑press publication, and a demonstrated record of University and/or public service. Additionally, will provide considerable independence in planning and execution of research.
