Safety Coordinator

HiFyve is hiring a Safety Coordinator in the Manufacturing industry in Marshall, Missouri! Salary: $70k-$90k/yr Shift: 8-hour day shift, Monday–Friday, with some overtime as needed Location: Marshall, Missouri Job Duties and Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, objectives, and training to ensure compliance with Federal and State safety regulations. Conduct and coordinate employee safety training programs, including onboarding for new hires. Perform plant inspections, lead weekly safety meetings, and promote a strong safety culture. Support personnel in selecting and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Manage incident prevention and investigation processes, including documentation, analysis, and reporting for program improvements. Handle safety documentation, postings, and client or OSHA inspection requirements. File claims with insurance carriers and manage open claims at the plant level. Conduct stormwater testing and reporting, as well as air quality reporting as required. Enforce company safety policies using established disciplinary processes. Collaborate with management and department heads to ensure safety objectives are met. Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health or equivalent combination of training and related experience (construction background a plus). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong knowledge of Federal and State safety regulations. Ability to develop and deliver safety training programs effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to foster a culture of safety and collaboration across teams.
