Company Overview

Our client is a growing structural engineering consulting firm that designs complex commercial buildings throughout Florida and the Caribbean. The firm provides structural design services for healthcare, higher education, hospitality, multifamily, mixed-use and commercial developments.

Responsibilities

\n
• Perform structural analysis and design for commercial building projects.
\n
• Prepare calculations, drawings and construction documents.
\n
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and engineering teams.
\n
• Utilize RAM, ETABS, Revit and related design tools.
\n
• Lead projects from design through construction administration.
\n
• Review work of junior engineers and provide mentorship.
\n
• Manage client relationships and project delivery.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
\n
• 4+ years of structural engineering experience.
\n
• Active PE license.
\n
• Commercial building design leadership experience.
\n
• Experience with RAM and/or ETABS.
\n
• Revit proficiency.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
\n
• SE license highly desirable.
\n
• Healthcare, hospitality, multifamily or higher education project experience.
\n

Target Background

Candidates from structural consulting firms with experience designing hospitals, hotels, condominiums, parking garages, universities, and large commercial buildings are highly preferred.
