STAR VFR Pilot

Job Summary PHI Air Medical, operating under CAMTS guidelines, is looking for skilled pilots to conduct 24‑hour VFR/NVG operations. The successful candidate will undergo a year minimum service requirement per the collective bargaining agreement, participate in community outreach programs, adhere to PHI Air Medical policies, and assist with loading and unloading of patients and equipment. Responsibilities Perform line pilot duties in accordance with GOM, support Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other company safety campaigns, and collaborate with both internal and external customers to provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service. Qualifications Commercial and Instrument helicopter ratings; First Class Medical. CAMTS requirement: 2,000 total flight hours; 1,500 helicopter hours; 1,000 PIC helicopter hours; 500 turbine helicopter hours; 100 hours unaided night operations, or 50 hours unaided + 100 hours NVG. Minimum body weight 235 pounds. Strong communication and internal/external customer‑service skills. Interview and acceptance by PHI management and customer. Annual flu vaccine not required. Must pass pre‑placement physical exam, functional capacity exam, lift 100 pounds for patient loading/unloading. Drug screening and background check. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
