This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to handle sophisticated employment litigation while working alongside accomplished legal professionals in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of employment defense litigation experience, excellent advocacy skills, and the ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution. Responsibilities include managing employment litigation matters through all phases of the case, drafting pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents, conducting legal research and developing litigation strategy, handling written discovery, depositions, and witness preparation, attending hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances, collaborating with partners and clients to develop practical legal solutions, and maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication and strategic guidance.Qualifications include a J.D. from an accredited law school, active membership in the California State Bar, 3+ years of employment defense litigation experience, strong motion writing and legal research skills, experience handling discovery, depositions, and court appearances, excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
