As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a caring, people-first culture while working with a reliable team that acts with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct authorized personnel, vendors, and deliveries as needed. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and document observations and actions taken. Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
