Radiology - MRI Tech Profession: MRI Technologist Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday-Friday Hours per Shift: Either 5x8s or 4x10s between 9 AM - 7 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Arkansas State License Certifications: BLS Certification, Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR) Must-Have: Starting IVs Description:The MRI Technologist will work in the Radiology department.The department has two scanners, one of which is a mobile unit.Common imaging performed includes Cardiac MRI, MRI/MRA of different anatomy, and MRCP.The technologist will start IVs as part of their duties.The average number of scans per day is between 10-16 per scanner.The electronic medical records (EMR) system used is MERGE PACS, transitioning to EPIC at the end of October.Department-specific equipment includes GE and Siemens systems.There is a Radiology Supervisor on the day shift and an alternating lead tech also present on day shifts.The technologist will not be required to float or cover other areas.There is a radiologist in-house during the day shift.The technologist will take call for one week every third week.Weekend and holiday call requirements apply.Scrubs will be royal blue, and hospital scrubs can be provided if needed.The unit/department specific orientation consists of ten shifts.The hospital can cancel up to four shifts during the 13-week assignment.The care setting is acute. #J-18808-Ljbffr
