About the Position

Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Northern and Central Michigan

You will join a physician-owned democratic group with partnership equity options and opportunities to participate in hospital leadership. This is an Emergency Medicine role across a four-site ED network in Michigan, supporting growth and increasing volumes. If you like practicing broad-spectrum EM with strong specialty backup and Epic-based workflow tools, this is worth a closer look.

What We Offer You

• Hourly pay model: $220/hr at Alma, Mt. Pleasant, and West Branch, and $240/hr at Alpena.
• Predictable full-time schedule: 144 hours/month, typically 12 shifts per month, with 12-hour shifts.
• Shift-based coverage: 7am and 7pm shifts, about a 50/50 night rotation, and full night schedules can be accommodated.
• Clinical support and resources: Single-physician coverage with APP support (12 hours/day at Alma, Mt. Pleasant, and West Branch; 24 hours/day at Alpena), plus 24/7 specialty coverage including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery/Spine, Cardiology, OB/GYN, and Pediatrics.
• Bonus and benefits: $20,000 sign-on or retention bonus prorated over two years, $30,000 for Alpena; year-end bonus for full-time physicians; $5,000 CME; malpractice coverage $1M/$3M modified claims-made with tail; 401(k) option.

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred.
• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with additional EM training and work experience considered case-by-case.
• Comfort with core ED procedures including airway management and intubation, central and arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tubes or thoracostomy, procedural sedation, and fracture or dislocation management with splinting.
• No visa sponsorship available.
