Student Assistant

Working with the Office of Financial Aid to provide support to the Client Services Teams.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities may include:

• Aid in the staffing of the Office of Financial Aid front desk. Provide an excellent level of customer service while maintaining professional interaction.

•Aid in the staffing of the Office of Financial Aid Call Center. Provide an excellent level of customer service while maintaining professional interaction.

•Greet students, parents, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

•Assist with basic questions about FAFSA, scholarships, and deadlines (refer complex issues to advisors).

•Explain and aid students and parents regarding financial aid processes.

•Maintain confidentiality of student records in compliance with privacy regulations.

•Perform general clerical duties and special projects as assigned.

Position details: Work schedule - Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and potential additional daytime hours

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable and punctual. Candidate must demonstrate general office skills.
