Job Responsibilities

• Craft Custom Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create tailored therapy strategies that guide them towards achieving their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to strengthen patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work side by side with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, integrated care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Instruct patients and their families in therapy approaches that encourage continued progress beyond the therapy setting.
• Assess and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring that patients remain on the path to success.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications

Licensure and Certifications

• Currently active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory
