Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the used vehicle department, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and success. Manage used vehicle inventory, pricing, appraisals, and vehicle acquisition through trades, direct purchases, and auctions. Analyze local market trends and develop stocking strategies that maximize inventory turn and profitability. Drive showroom and online traffic while increasing trade-ins and vehicle acquisitions. Partner with the Sales, Service, and Parts departments to improve reconditioning efficiency and inventory readiness. Train, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and department goals. Monitor key performance indicators and continuously identify opportunities to improve sales, gross profit, inventory performance, and customer satisfaction. Deliver an exceptional customer experience while effectively resolving customer concerns and escalations. Qualifications Previous experience as a Used Car Manager required. Strong appraisal, inventory management, negotiation, and merchandising skills. Proven ability to drive sales, increase profitability, and lead a successful team. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
