Schedule: 3x12 Night shifts, 13-week assignment. Weekend coverage required. 2:1 patient ratio. 12-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

• Work at a Magnet-designated, 407-bed acute care hospital recognized as a top facility in Alaska
• Level II Trauma Center with 27-bed ICU serving medical cardiac, surgical cardiac, neuro intervention, stroke, sepsis, respiratory failure, trauma, and spinal cord injury patients
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, lift teams, and rapid response teams
• Specialized equipment experience including IABP, CRRT, Impella, tandem heart, and targeted temperature management
• Free parking provided; scrubs supplied by facility
• May float to like units as needed to meet facility requirements

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license (pending licenses accepted for submission; must have license in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (TNCC preferred)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not accepted)
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
