We are seeking a litigation associate (5+ years of experience) to join our commercial litigation team on Long Island. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven attorney to take on a substantive role handling complex matters within a fast-paced and dynamic litigation practice.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, and legal memoranda
• Conduct and defend depositions and handle court appearances in state and federal courts
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review, production, and strategy
• Handle arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations
• Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidance
• Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Prepare for and assist with hearings and trials
• Supervise junior attorneys and support staff as needed

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar (New Jersey admission is a plus)
• 5+ years of experience in commercial litigation
• Strong experience with motion practice, depositions, and court appearances
• Experience managing cases independently from start to finish
• Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong interpersonal and client management skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $145,000 – $200,000, commensurate with experience
