Paralegal

Our paralegals work with outside counsel to put together board packets, draft minutes, draft regulatory filings, interaction with the boards of trustees of mutual fund and ETF series trusts. Includes regulatory filings, updating prospectus and other periodic filings to include current information. Looking for two to accomodate pending growth, perhaps a few more in next six months. Position could be ideal for a current law student who wants to exercise their skills and see if the financial services and regulated investment company world is interesting for a career path. If nothing else it can be a way to practice legal writing, filings preparation, and good editing skills for legal document.s Responsibilities Review and draft routine regulatory filings Board materials preparation and support Calendar management of both board schedules and periodic filing deadlines Qualifications Experience as a legal secretary or assistant or paralegal Intelligence and ability to learn much more important than a certificate formal paralegal training helpful, but experience in an identical or similar role just as valuable Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate #J-18808-Ljbffr
