Full-Time Tax Accountant

Tax Return Preparation and Review: Come join our team! We are seeking a part time or full time Tax Accountant (30 hours per week minimum). Responsibilities Attend weekly virtual team meeting. Work closely with clients and our team to prepare and review annual income tax returns and other returns (e.g. 1099s, sales tax returns, property tax forms). Conduct tax research. Prepare financial statements for internal management use only (no compilations, reviews or audits). Assist with tax planning and monthly accounting responsibilities, especially in the off season. Communicate with clients. At times you will need a quiet area to talk to clients on the phone during normal business hours. Otherwise, you can work whenever you prefer. Qualifications Bachelors of Accounting degree Minimum of three years tax prep (or equivalent) experience for business. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Have working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop. Exhibit strong communication skills in a professional manner.
