Advena Living on Tenth is seeking a skilled and experienced RN Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee and lead the nursing department. In this leadership role, you will ensure high-quality care, manage nursing staff, and maintain compliance with all regulations. Qualifications:

• Current Kansas state license as a Registered Nurse or a Nurse Compact License
• Knowledge of state and local regulations regarding long term care
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and scheduling
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Proficient computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications preferred

We are a Veterans Administration-contracted nursing facility. We offer short-term rehabilitation services and skilled nursing care for recovery after surgery, such as a hip or knee replacement; or after a medical event, such as a stroke or heart attack. Our in-house therapy services help restore mobility and autonomy so you can return home as quickly as possible.

For long-term assistance to function better and enjoy life more fully, we consider it a privilege to care for those who need support in caring for themselves. The focus of our long-term care is on offering a helping hand with the routine activities of daily living and providing individualized care. Nursing and rehabilitation services are also available to long-term community members.
