Job Summary:

Position Title: Oracle and SQL Server Database Administrator (Part-Time)

Location: Remote initially, transitioning to on-site (Pomona or Downtown Los Angeles).

Duration: 1100 Hours

Work Schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, and available during weekends and holidays for emergencies and special projects



Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Oracle and SQL Server Database Administrator

• Support change management, including maintenance across multiple environments and deploying approved patches.
• Support security/SOX Audit Reporting and provide input and recommendations.
• Provide production and operational support, and on-call duties.
• Creating users, tablespaces, logs, Performance tuning, - Upgrades, Capacity management, Auto Config, Disaster Recovery, Backup and Cloning, Security Technical Patch Management.
• Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle ADI, XML, Publisher, and Workflow

SQL Server Administration:

• Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions
• Research required dat
• Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
• nalyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
• Suggest new queries for continuous systems improvement

To be considered for this position, you should have: [ Skills, Education, or Experience]

• Senior Oracle Apps DBA with 10 plus years of IT Industry experience with a strong emphasis in Oracle database, as well as the ability to function as a SQL Server DB
• Hands-on experience with AD Utilities: ADOP, Adadmin, Adpatch, Adconfig, dctrl, Adsplice & Adrelink
• Single Sign-On implementation of Oracle eBusiness Suite. Must have extensive DBA experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite Version 12.2 and above.
• Experience and knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including Failover Cluster Instances, Availability Groups, Database Mirroring, Log Shipping, and backups and restores
• Detailed knowledge of SQL Server
