EHS Manager United States - MI - Harrison Township Job Description Main Responsibilities – Include but are not limited to: Monitor EHS performance, identify risks, areas of improvement, conduct and manage EHS audits and on-site inspections to identify EHS workplace hazards. Manage investigation of EHS incidents, prepare reports and recommendations, implement waste management programs, develop and drive EHS trainings, manage relationships with community of EHS stakeholders. Research, evaluate and recommend changes to improve EHS performance. Provide expertise and advice on EHS issues to area managers and plant managers. Eliminate the risk of occupational injury and illness, and environmental non-compliance in a manufacturing environment. Lead internal and external EHS audits. Required Education and Qualifications Area of Study: EHS or related field. *Equivalent work experience or professional certifications obtained by applicants may also be considered for certain positions 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience in EHS. 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry. Experience of a minimum of two years managing regulatory compliance in OSHA, worker’s compensation, manufacturing health and safety training, environmental and ergonomics. ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001 requirements, including internal and external customers such as OE and NGO requirements; training and record keeping requirements, ISO documentation requirements and formats. #J-18808-Ljbffr
