Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Neurology Registered Nurse (RN) for a position based in Neenah, Wisconsin. This role involves caring for neurology patients, primarily post-stroke and post-operative patients from brain, neck, and spine surgeries. The candidate must bring their licensure on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: WI RN license (or compact), AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Associate Degree or Certificate, at least 3 years of RN experience with at least one travel contract required.
• Schedule: 12-hour days, from 0530 to 1800, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The rotation includes every other weekend and holiday rotation depending on unit needs.
• Required Qualifications: Valid WI RN license (or compact), current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications, NIHSS certification preferred, minimum of 3 years RN experience, including ICU or Intermediate Care experience, and recent charting experience in EPIC within the last year.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in stroke care, post-operative back/spine/cervical surgeries, trauma patients, and TBI. Resilience, adaptability, and social skills are desired.
• Additional Information: No travel experience is required, but previous travel experience is mandatory. Missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks. The assignment duration is 11 weeks, starting on June 22, 2026. The unit is a 16-bed neurology unit, primarily caring for post-stroke and post-op neurology patients, with a patient ratio of 1:4. The unit requires float coverage within the facility within the skill set.
